I’m Rev. Dr. Anne Morris, retired vicar, formerly of St Oswald’s Church, Knuzden in the Diocese Blackburn. St Oswalds is on the edge of Blackburn with a mix of private housing, smallholdings and the outer estate of Shadworth. According the the Church Urban Fund, the parish is amongst the most deprived in the country.
