Just to say that I’m now back at work after a period of absence, My husband of 41 years, David, died at the end of August, three months after having been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It has been a difficult, challenging and painful time.

There have been many wonderful letters and cards expressing gratitude for David’s work in the conservation of historic buildings, his ability to inspire people to make the best of their local environment, his visionary ability to see what was possible, his kindness as a person, and his quiet work as Churchwarden at St. Oswald’s Church, Knuzden.

PLease pray for me, and for our family as we learn how to live differently now he has gone.
